Unfortunately, it probably stopped with Ross Perot. I think Perot got about 12-13% of the general vote in 1992 against Papa Bush and Bill Clinton.
It probably cost Perot MILLIONS to do that.
Yes, he’s rich and sleeping easy tonight, but that’s why there won’t be a 3rd party in USA politics. $$$ rules in politics. There will never be a third party President.
